Networking Happens!

We had about 200 plus attend the 2011 Legacy Awards Networking Reception at CES on Thursday night last week. Were you there? Did you have fun? Did you meet anyone new?

Our goal with the new website and the public blog and the members only Join the Conversation is to keep the networking opportunities going between the live events and really develop Women in CE as a community. So join right in with your comments here about CES and about the party and anything else you can share with the community of Women in CE!

I attended the 2011 Legacy Awards and enjoyed networking with fellow CE colleagues. I made several new contacts and look forward to joining Women in CE in the near future.

I thought the Women in CE event was fabulous! I met some great new people and was really inspired by the women being honored at the event - a great way to start off 2011! Thanks!

What was particularly touching was the number of people that showed up in support of the women being honored. Women like Kathy Gornik and Teresa Gallo have inspired me and it was great to see the huge turnout!

This is becoming quite the event. I’ve been to 3 Women in CE events so far over the past year and a half and what stands out to me the most is the amount of attention and support that they keep drawing. It’s a wonderful networking event and a great place to meet all of the important women in the AV industry.

The opportunity to witness my CE hero, Teresa Gallo, accept such an honor capped my CES. Being married 28 years (not to Teresa!), it doesn’t surprise me that the grace, wisdom, and beauty of women translate well into CE. I see it eveyday in the office. Plus, HELLO - as a male I can think of no more enjoyable party/ event to attend at CES than… well, Women in CE!

It was so much fun to be able to honor such great women in our industry at the Legacy Awards. Women in CE is a fantastic group of people and I can’t stress enough about the importance of getting involved in such a great group!
