Debra Boelkes is the CEO of Business World Rising, a leadership development services firm dedicated to the advancement of high potential business leaders and stronger, more inclusive enterprises.  Deb has over 25 years of business development, sales, marketing and operational leadership experience in the high tech industry. Prior to founding the original Business Women Rising division in 2009, Deb was Director of Worldwide Business Programs at QLogic Corporation where she was instrumental in driving the firm’s global operational effectiveness. At Arrow Electronics, Deb directed a Software as a Service (SaaS) line of business and led global-scale, cross-functional initiatives. Earlier, Deb served as Director of Consulting Services at Fujitsu, she established and managed a professional services organization at IBM, and originally began her career as a Systems Engineer at AT&T.  Deb earned her BS degree in Business Administration and her MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Rhode Island, where she graduated top in her class.
